Ana and Sanjay had planned an intimate wedding in Castle Combe. When they enquired if I was available to photograph their intimate wedding, I literally squealed with delight. Whilst Castle Combe is not local to me I was familiar with it. For my first wedding anniversary my husband booked us a weekend stay at the Manor House Hotel in Castle Combe upon recommendations from my well travelled parents. Set in the midst of the most beautiful village the hotel is well known for its Michelin Star restaurant and picturesque views in the Cotswolds. So I was super excited at the opportunity to photograph a wedding there.
What made it even more exciting would be that it would be my first post Covid wedding. My last wedding was back in early March and sadly all of my weddings for 2020 have been forced to postpone as they felt an intimate wedding not a right fit for them.
Now for me intimate weddings are such super special affairs. They are so much more laid back and allow the Bride and Groom so much more time to spend with their most special guests. Its such a perfect event to photograph and I loved every minute photographing Ana and Sanjay’s intimate wedding in Castle Combe.
The Wedding Suppliers for this intimate Wedding
It was my first time working with some great suppliers in our little industry and there was a special buzz from us all. For many of us it was our first wedding in a very long time and it was clear to me they where all so passionate about what they do and had missed weddings as much as me. Big shout out to them
