Georgina and Christopher’s wedding at Braxted Park, Essex was a total dream to photograph. It has been a few years since I had the pleasure of working at Braxted Park but it didn’t disappoint.
Braxted Park
Braxted Park wedding venue is pretty epic. From the moment you arrive at the entrance of the driveway it simply, takes your breath away.
The long driveway, lined with huge trees, leads your eye to the magnificent Manor House. Its situated centrally on the top of a hill surrounded by acres of woodland. This venue has it all. A dreamy driveway, Manor House, woodland, river, bridge, walled garden, orangery, and even a church on the estate. If I could work here every day I would.
That said when I arrived for Georgina and Christopher’s wedding at Braxted Park, I felt overcome with nerves. I was worried about every little detail of their day and wanted it to be perfect for them. I needn’t of worried. As soon as I started shooting, I felt instantly at ease. It was an amazing day, with an amazing team and so special to be part of.
The suppliers
Georgina’s dress was from Suzanne Neville flagship store in London, and called GiGi.
With its classic lines and delicate floral detail it suited Georgina to a tee. She looked so elegant and beautiful in it. She finished her look with a cathedral length veil, and a pair of Jimmy Choos. Georgina and her bridesmaids had the hair done by Carly Williams and makeup by Jaimie Attfield. They all looked stunning.
Georgina & Christopher opted for an elegant white cake with floral details which echoed Georgina’s dress a stunning creation by the lovely crumbs to creations. the flowers where the creation of Designer Flower Essex.
It was great to work alongside David from Rideout films, we have now worked together for over a decade. He’s a master videographer and great fun to be around.
Notably Georgina and Chris’s wedding at braxted park had the function band – these guys are insane and entertained the guests throughout the dinner and into the night.
Favourite Photos
One of my favourites parts of Georgina’s and Chris’s wedding at Braxted park was when she revealed her look to her Bridesmaids and then her father. There was not a dry eye in the room it was so emotional. As her father entered the room he put his hand on his heart. I love this moment captured in the photograph, and various photos of her Bridesmaid fighting back the tears and laughter.
Georgina and Chris are so good together, the photos of them at the front of the church show just what a perfect match they are for one another and how happy they where to be getting married.
All in all, this was a fabulous wedding and one I am so pleased to be part of. I can not wait to return to Braxted Park in a couple of months for my next wedding there, it’s a smashing venue with a great team.
