When Emma & Rob contacted me to photograph their 18 month old baby girl, Isla, and newborn baby triplets I was very excited, as I have never photographed triplets before. To have a set of 3 girls and a natural conception is a 1 in 10,000 chance, so to have the opportunity to photograph them made me feel rather special.
When Isla was born they missed having her newborn moments captured and regretted it so it was really important to get some really good shoots of them all together. As a portrait photographer, I know that the hardest thing to photograph is a newborn baby with a toddler – so although the shoot excited me it was also a little daunting. I really wanted to make sure I captured a shot of all four of them, so I decided to ask a very good friend of mine, Jo from Studio Rochford to help out, I am so glad I did – posing newborn baby triplets without her would have been very hard – thanks so much Jo.
The main credit has to go to the triplets, they where super well behaved and slept nearly all the way through thanks to Emma’s very well timed feeds, and Isla being such a good and patient big sister. Emma is SUCH a GREAT mum – she makes it all look so easy, she really is a super mum, and should have some kind of cape! Also a big thanks to Nanny Carney for your helping hands.
The girls where all born on the 8th December at 33 weeks Amelie Grace 3lb 15oz, Martha Lily 4lb 1oz, & Rosie Mae 2lb 13oz and where home in time for Christmas. In the photos the triplets are 7 weeks old, which would have been their full term due date.
Beware. Super cuteness below.
