I first photographed The Barnard Family at their wedding in June 2013 so when they got in contact to ask me to photograph the new addition to their family I was super excited.

We opted to do the shoot in their beautiful home and I wanted to capture them in a relaxed and natural way. I arrived for breakfast and started to capture their story as it unfolded.

Baby Drew was an absolute dream to work with, as was his sister Avie, although Avie was a little more playful for the camera. After breakfast they briefly watched a bit of Disney on the TV as Mummy was feeding drew, I especially love the photograph when she has clung to her dads arm for support from the scare she is seeing on the TV. It’s a cute moment.  I also like the photographs where she is playing doctors with her Brother on the floor.

I spent time in each childs room as I love to capture the memories for them as they grow up.

Tonya and Lee have impeccable taste. I love their home, and their dogs. Such a fun relaxed day thanks for having me photograph your family.
