Hannah and Daniel chose a traditional wedding ceremony at the pretty Holy Trinity Church in Rayleigh. A church has existed on the site since Saxon times and was built incorporating stones from the castle when it fell into disuse. Hannah, Daniel and all their guests arrived through the impressive brickwork porch that dates back from Tudor times. Hannah prepared for the ceremony at the nearby Lion Inn Hotel, a traditional pub for centuries, the Lion Inn has recently undergone a chic yet sympathetic transformation into a contemporary bistro pub. This made it a stylish yet laid back place for Hannah to make her preparations for the day. One of my favourite moments of the day was when Hannah put her dress on looked in the mirror and said ‘wow.’ The dress had exceeded even her expectations! It was a really sweet moment and I was thrilled to be able to capture it for her. On the morning Hannah also received a surprise gift from Daniel, a pair of gorgeous antique sapphire earrings. Daniel obviously knows his bride well because Hannah instantly adored them and insisted on wearing them for the rest of the day. With her earrings Hannah wore a stunning Kenneth Winston bridal dress by Bellissma Weddings. She looked amazing.
Hannah’s bridesmaids were dressed in Alfred Angelo dresses and were smiling and attentive all day. Flowers were provided by Penny Jane Flowers.
After the ceremony there was much excitement as the couple had laid on a traditional red double decker bus to take all their guests to the reception.
Hannah and Daniel chose the magnificent Boreham House in Chelmsford to host their wedding reception. Boreham house is a truly amazing Grade I listed mansion with a stately avenue of trees, between which there is a breath-taking formal lake with magnificent countryside views. With 24ft high ceilings, original fireplaces and sold oak hand carved panelling ensure the interiors are impressive too. All of this makes being a Boreham House Wedding Photographer a dream! I particularly loved taking photographs in the main house lobby and the venue had the most amazing light in the evening providing such warm colours to my shots.
On arrival everybody was welcomed by Roma, Boreham’s wedding co-ordinator, who was on hand all day to ensure everything ran smoothly and it did! So much so, that it made me look forward to the next time I get the chance to be a Boreham House Wedding Photographer.
A lovely couple, a pretty church ceremony and an elegant and stylish reception. Congratulations to Hannah and Daniel for getting married and creating such a memorable day for yourselves, your family and your friends to remember.
