ASHRIDGE HOUSE
Lauren and Robbie where due to get married at the stunning Ashridge House in Hertfordshire in Summer 2020 and so we opted to do their pre wedding photography shoot at the beautiful location.
Ashridge house has long been on my bucket list of wedding venues to photograph. I couldn’t have been more excited to do their pre wedding shoot here for them. Blessed with beautiful light on the day and having barely used my camera for a year the shoot was very much welcomed. (It was also nice just to see people!)
WORKING OUT THE ROUTE FOR THE BIG DAY
As I have not previously worked at Ashridge House doing the pre wedding shoot at Ashridge gave me a really good opportunity to find all the beautiful spots for their wedding photographs. Ashridge sits on a vast landscape and so it also gave me the opportunity to work out how to use my time efficiently and what areas I would and wouldn’t include on their big day. My favourite parts of the venue where the old victorian conservatory and of course the main staircase (something I felt I wanted to save photographing for the wedding day itself- so you going to have to wait!)
GETTING TO KNOW LAUREN AND ROBBIE
Like most of my clients Lauren and Robbie where camera shy and self conscious. But I really feel that they photographed brilliantly and look supper confident and relaxed in their photos. I literally can not wait for their big day!
